Reflexology

Recommended for : migraine, stroke patients, incontinence, period pains and constipation.

Reflexology is a natural system of healing, based on massage of the feet. The techniques are thought to have originated in China, where pressure therapies were used to correct blocked energy fields within the body.

Each zone of the feet reflects an area of the body, and gentle pressure to each helps stimulate and reharmonise the patient. Reflexology can be used to help relieve many different conditions including back pain, allergies, menstrual problems, migraine and asthma. It can also benefit stroke victims and patients with bed-wetting problems. It is particularly beneficial for women complaining of low back problems. As well as helping to reduce stress and induce a feeling of deep relaxation, reflexology boosts the circulation and encourages elimination of toxins and impurities, so revitalising the body and acting as a form of preventative health care.
